The Mysterious Pals have learned so much over the last 74 weeks but still we are at a crossroads. The space we are in is so crowded and we feel that we could do more to be different while still having fun along the way. So we have decided to go on hiatus until we figure out the best direction for the show and how to be different from all the other shows about history and mysteries. While we have some ideas, we need time to develop and test out new ways of delivering and talking about this type of content. Sometimes you need to knock it all down and start over to make something better.
Also, this is an open question to anybody who has listened to us, what do you think makes for an interesting show about mysteries? Any feedback could help us in this revamp.
While the Mysterious Pals will be on a break for a while, you can still keep up with us on the Watch Pals (watchpals.show). So thank you to everyone who has supported us through your comments, emails, and just listening or watching. We will be back soon!--------------------MUSICTheme Music by Dethlehem (dethlehem.bandcamp.com)--------------------SOCIAL LINKSWebsite: www.mysteriouspals.comEmail: mysteriouspalsonline@gmail.comYoutube: @MysteriousPalsFacebook: @mysteriouspalsInstagram: @mysteriouspalsX/Twitter: @mysterious_palsPodcast Feeds: www.mysteriouspals.com--------------------ABOUT THE MYSTERIOUS PALSThe Mysterious Pals is a mysterious show about history and friendship.#mystery, #history, #unsolved, #unsolvedmysteries, #mysteriouspals, #staymysterious, #philosophersstone, #emeraldtablet, #ancienthistory

The Emerald Tablet is a cornerstone of Western esoteric thought and has fascinated alchemists, philosophers, and mystics for centuries. Over centuries the tablet has inspired countless interpretations, blending science, spirituality, and metaphysics. However, its origins, authorship, and meaning remain shrouded in mystery.

Starting in the 1990s a small percentage of residents of Taos, New Mexico began reporting hearing a hum. Those affected report it as a vibration, while others hear it as a tone. Regardless, those affected claim sleep disturbances, anxiety, headaches, and memory loss. Despite scientific investigations, the hum’s location and source remain a mystery.

The lore surrounding the Doan Gang is rich with tales of hidden treasure. Mainly to the amount of documented treasure that had been stolen but never recovered even after they were all hunted down. It is believed that, over the years, the gang accumulated a vast fortune from their robberies, which they concealed in various locations across Pennsylvania. --------------------MUSICTheme Music by Dethlehem (dethlehem.bandcamp.com)--------------------SOCIAL LINKSWebsite: www.mysteriouspals.comEmail: mysteriouspalsonline@gmail.comYoutube: @MysteriousPalsFacebook: @mysteriouspalsInstagram: @mysteriouspalsX/Twitter: @mysterious_palsPodcast Feeds: www.mysteriouspals.com--------------------EPISODE RESOURCES

After the death of King Edward IV in April 1483, his 12-year-old son Edward V and his younger brother Richard were placed under the protection of their uncle, Richard, Duke of Gloucester. However, Richard declared the boys illegitimate, enabling him to seize the throne and become King Richard III. The two boys were confined to the Tower of London, ostensibly for their safety. They were last seen in the summer of 1483. After that, they vanished without explanation, leading to widespread speculation. Were they murdered or did they escape and live in obscurity? --------------------MUSICTheme Music by Dethlehem (dethlehem.bandcamp.com)--------------------SOCIAL LINKSWebsite: www.mysteriouspals.comEmail: mysteriouspalsonline@gmail.comYoutube: @MysteriousPalsFacebook: @mysteriouspalsInstagram: @mysteriouspalsX/Twitter: @mysterious_palsPodcast Feeds: www.mysteriouspals.com--------------------EPISODE RESOURCES

Père Fouettard, aka Father Whipper, is primarily known as the dark counterpart to St. Nicholas in the far north and eastern regions of France, in the south of Belgium, and in French-speaking Switzerland. Father Whipper stands in stark contrast to St. Nicholas, embodying the shadows that haunt the season of light and goodwill. So why does Santa Claus allow Père Fouettard to follow him around during the most wonderful time of the year?
